Life Outside Poker w/ Connor Richards is a new podcast for PokerNews that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.

For the fourth episode, Connor spoke with Texas poker vlogger Nick of OnTiltPoker during the WPT Voyage about getting into content creation, boxing as a teenager, pulling a $25,000 bounty for Ben Ludlow and winning Joey Ingram's WPT Voyage giveaway.

The interview features a cameo from poker vlogging godfather Andrew Neeme, who spoke about giving action on stream and his experience playing with On Tilt Nick. Plus, WPT Executive Tour Director Matt Savage wins an Omaha 8 event in the background.

With four players seeing a board of 10♥7♣9♦7♠, Fabio Peluso checked from the small blind, Giorgiy Skhulukhiya bet 33,000 from the big blind, a player in middle position folded, Michael Iakovlev called from the button and Peluso folded.

Skhulukhiya bet again for 133,000 when checked to on the 4♥ river and this time Iakovlev's hand hit the muck.

Vlasov Picks Off a Massive Bluff

A player opened from middle position and received a call from Thomas Alfred Mayer on the button before Denis Vlasov squeezed from the small blind, folding out the original raiser while Meyer made the call, creating a pot worth roughly 325,000 going into the flop.

Vlasov check-called a 100,000 bet from Mayer on the 7♥4♦6♠ flop. Both players then checked the 4♥ turn leading to the 3♣ river. Vlasov checked, Mayer shoved for about 500,000 and Vlasov made the call with a covering stack.

Mayer tabled K♣10♥ for a bluff and immediately started making his exit from the tournament area while Vlasov turned over Q♦Q♣ to scoop a gargantuan pot.

Osmancan Cubuk opened to 20,000 from early position and Ihar Soika three-bet to 50,000 from middle position. Cubuk made the call.

The flop came J♥9♠Q♣ and Cubuk led out with a bet of 75,000. Soika moved all in and Cubuk, who was covered with about 175,000 behind, made the call to put himself at risk.

Cubuk was in rough shape against Soika's kings until he improved to trips on the Q♥ turn leaving Soika drawing to six outs. Soika could not catch a king or a ten on the 9♣ river and took a big hit to this stack while Cubuk dragged in a sizable pot.
