Rheem Doubles Lawson

Chino Rheem opened the action up with a raise to 8,000. Ted Lawson kicked it up to 25,000. Rheem reraised all in and Lawson called for less at 87,500.

Rheem: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Lawson: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

"I'm going to need an eight," said Rheem.

"I folded queen-eight," announced Baron.

"Well, then I'm going to need some baby straight cards," responded Rheem.

Rheem would get neither an eight nor a straight as the board ran out {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Lawson doubled up.

Glantz Takes One From Mercier

Jason Mercier was first to act and raised to 6,000. Matt Glantz, sitting to his left, three-bet to 14,000 and Mercier, when it had folded back around to him, four-bet to 37,500.

Glantz made the call and the {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop was seen heads up. Mercier led out for 33,500 and Glantz called. The {k-Diamonds} turn prompted Mercier to bet out 71,000 and Glantz went no where, tossing in the chips for a call. The river was the {3-Hearts} and this time Mercier slowed down with a check. Glantz bet 66,000 and Mercier quickly released his hand.

Mercier is down to 240,000 while Glantz reaches 425,000 with that pot.

Trickett Takes Down Mackey

Goodbye Mackey
Goodbye Mackey

Sam Trickett opened the pot from the button with a raise to 7,000. James Mackey, who had become one of our shortest stacks, moved all in from the small blind and Trickett made the call.

Trickett: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Mackey: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and just like that, we are down to four tables. Trickett is now one of our top dogs with 485,000.

Hasan Habib checked the {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and Isaac Baron bet 25,500. Habib min-raised to 51,000 and after a minute of thought, Baron called.

The river completed the board with the {7-Diamonds} and Habib checked. Baron tanked for a minute and then fired out 73,000. Habib folded and Baron scooped the chips.
