On the flop of , Isaac Baron checked and Hoyt Corkins bet 3,000. Baron made the call to see the fall on the turn. He then checked again. Corkins made another wager, upping his bet this time to 6,500. Baron folded and Corkins won the pot.
Dan Shak got the last of his chips in with but was up against the of Jason Mercier. The board ran out which was not enough to keep Shak from hitting the rail.
Mercier climbs up the leaderboard with that hand as he now sits with 250,000.
Vitaly Lunkin, Jeremiah DeGreef and Sorel Mizzi were three-handed to a flop of . The first two players checked to Mizzi and he bet 5,100. Lunkin decided to raise to 12,200 which folded out DeGreef and got a call from Mizzi.
The turn was the and Lunkin led out this time for 15,100. Mizzi made the call and the two players saw the hit the river. Lunkin quickly checked and Mizzi wasted little time checking as well. Lunkin tabled and Mizzi mucked his hand.
Lunkin now has 150,000 while Mizzi falls back to 80,000.
