Karr Riding the Roller Coaster

McLean Karr has been up and down in the past few hands. First, he managed to double up to about 140,000 when his {J-Hearts}{10-Spades} got there against the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} of Alec Torelli on the {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Clubs} board after all of the money went in preflop. Shortly after that, Karr issued the doubling up of another player when he doubled Vitaly Lunkin.

On that hand, the money went in on the {8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop with Karr holding the {9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} to Lunkin's {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The turn was the {3-Clubs} and the river the {5-Diamonds} to give Lunkin a flush.

Medic Can't Catch Up

Although were not sure if the chips went in on the flop or the turn, Nenad Medic was all in with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} against the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} of Dan O'Brien on a {7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board. The {8-Hearts} river was a scare card but didn't quite get him there.

With that pot, O'Brien chips up to 265,000.

Stein Puts Pressure on Lester

From the button, Jason Lester raised to 4,000. Sam Stein reraised from the small blind to 10,600 and Lester made the call. The flop was {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Stein continued his aggression with a bet of 13,300. Lester made the call.

After the {7-Clubs} was added to the board on the turn, Stein bet enough to put Lester all in. Lester folded and Stein won the pot.
