Erik Seidel opened with a raise to 30,000 from under the gun and action folded a few seats over to Gavin Smith in the cutoff seat. He flat-called and then play fell on Jason Mercier on the button. Mercier three-bet to 92,000 and action folded through the blinds to Seidel. He reraised to 200,000 even. Smith got out of the way and then Mercier took his time with his decision. Eventually, Mercier cut out a five-bet to 332,000. Seidel flatted.
The flop came down . Both players checked to see the hit the turn. Seidel checked again. Mercier bet 141,000 and Seidel mucked.
After the hand, Mercier went over and whispered something into Allen Bari's ear on the rail. We didn't hear what was said, but Mercier did have a big smile on his face. We'll have to wait to see this one on television later on.

Gavin Smith opened the action with a raise to 30,000 before Huck Seed made it 80,000 to go. It folded back to Smith who moved all in. Seed called for less and the hands were turned face up.
