After almost 7.5 hours on Day 2 of the PokerStars EPT Online 11: $1,050 NLHE [8-Max, Deep Stacks], it was Dutchman Daan "DaanOss" Mulders, who resides in Austria, who would be the new EPT Online champion by defeating "Serebity_p" heads-up for $111,184.

Mulders has just over $200,000 in scores recorded in live tournaments according to The Hendon Mob but is a well-known player on the virtual felt. Other familiar players to take a seat at the final table included Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden, Gediminas "Gedis92" Uselis, Caio "pessagno" Pessagno, Peter "pitabread189" Chien, and Day 1 chip leader Andreas "mrAndreeew" Berggren.

Start of the Day

With 79 players returning for Day 2, all of them had already secured $2,266 for their efforts on Day 1 but as the bubble bursting also meant the end of Day 1, the eliminations started coming in from the get-go. Daniel "SmilleThHero" Smiljkovic won the EPT Online 07: $2,100 NLHE [8-Max] for $113,490 a few days ago but couldn't make it to another final table in the end.

He was joined on the rail by players like Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski, Adrian "Amadi_017" Mateos, Parker "tonkaaaa" Talbot, and Conor "1_conor_b_1" Beresford before the first break of the day.

PokerStars Team Online's Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis five-bet shoved with ace-king and was looked up by Chien who held pocket queens. The queen on the flop gave Chien the set but the ten on the turn gave Veldhuis a gutshot to the straight but it never got there on the river to send the Twitch streamer out of the tournament in the 41st place.

By the time the second break came around, only 29 players were left. Another hour later, 18 were left with players like Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and Joao "Naza114" Vieira giving up their seats. "JackRipperJr" had the chip lead at that point and kept building it by taking out /Ivan "zufo16" Zufic, "Floesoe", "T0X16-", Robin "robinho" Ylitalo, and Sergei "Futti18" Koliakov to get the tournament to the final table bubble.

Vousden had taken out "ChinaJune" and "Ewokwat" out while "POLPETTA8888POL" took care of Rob "batoelrob" Hollink. But it would be Vousden who would burst the final table bubble when he eliminated "efkinis24" with the higher kicker.

The Final Table Action

Even though Berggren started the day as the chip leader, things didn't go well for him on Day 2 as he came into the final table as the shortest stack and was first to go thanks to Uselis' pocket tens. A few hands later, it was Chien who was next to go when he lost all his chips with the lower pocket pair to "Serebity_p". Fifteen minutes later, Pessagno was pushed out by Mulders.

It would take another 30 minutes before Uselis was shot out of the tournament by "JackRipperJr" before another 45 minutes of play took place before another elimination could be noted. it was "POLPETTA8888POL" who fell to "JackRipperJr". Vousden was then taken out by Mulders who had flopped a full house.

"Serebity_p" held the shortest stack but double up through "JackRipperJr" before the latter lost the remainder of their stack to them too when they ran pocket eights into the trip nines "Serebity_p" had turned.

Heads-up play lasted around 30 minutes with "Serebity_p" doubling up first but Mulders doubled straight back up again when he caught "Serebity_p" bluffing. Mulders kept increasing the chip lead by keeping the pressure on "Serebity_p" before they three-bet shoved for around 20 big blinds with ace-nine. Mulders held ace-queen and flopped top pair to claim the victory.
