Bouncin' Round the Room: Ties, Blunts, and the Great Wall of Hansen

I walked around the tournament area and took a careful inspection of the fashion sense of the players in Day 1B. The PokerStars qualifiers are all wearing track suit jackets which they got as part of their packages. Eugene Todd is sporting a smokin' red baseball jersey with "Blunts" written on the front.

Isabelle Mercier is wearing a shirt that says "Amsterdam." She also has a wrist band/bracelet with the words: "My savior, my hope."

The tournament director, Thomas Kresmer, and his staff all wear the same colored tie so players could quickly identify who they are. Yesterday it was lime green. Today it's a happy shade of orange.

A very tired Phil Ivey was seated across from Patrik Antonius as fans and spectators flocked to their table. Perhaps the table with the most railbirds has to be Juha Helppi's and Gus Hansen's table. Spectators and media have created a massive wall of people standing five and six deep to catch a glimpse of the Great Dane. I wondered how many members of that crowd were debt collectors?
