The 99 runners that sat down to play Day 1A of the PokerStars.com EPT Warsaw have been whittled down to 53. Antony Lellouche, Johnny Lodden, and Ludovic Lacay ended the day at the top of the pack, with around 50,000 in chips apiece. Gavin Griffin, Arnaud Mattern, and Polish pop star Michal Wisniewski will also return on Monday to play Day 2.

Today we saw the departure of several notable players including EPT Budapest champion Will Fry, high-stakes online sensation Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and EPT Live's lovely and talented hostess Kara Scott.

Tomorrow's field should prove to be a bit more crowded and star-studded as a number of the Team PokerStars Pro army of players descend on Warsaw to take their shot at an EPT title. We're expecting appearances from Isabelle Mercier, Dario Minieri, Alex Kravchenko, William Thorson and Bertrand "ElkY' Grospellier to name a few.
