Katja Thater Makes a Great Call

that landed on the turn. When the 
arrived on the river, Thater's opponent asked how much she had behind. Thater wordlessly moved away the water bottle that had been partially blocking her stack from his view, and he settled on a bet of 4,800. Thater went into the tank, pulling the 4,800 out of her stack to determine how much she would have left if she called and lost. After a few more moments spent deep in thought, she slid those chips into the middle.
"Good call" said her opponent, showing

and raked in the pot, increasing her stack to 25,000.
