Marc Goodwin made it 65,000 and Matt Lapossie in the big blind was the one and only caller. They saw a flop which they both checked.
They saw a turn as well and this time Lapossie bet out 88,000. Call. They saw finally an river as well, and now Lapossie bet out 147,000. Goodwin disappeared into the tank this time, and when he came out again he folded.
Cornell Cimpan shoved for his last 90,000 from the small blind and Mike McDonald called in the big blind with ahead of Cimpan's until the board of was dealt out.
Cimpan has about 180,000 but still is the shortest stack still in the tournament.
Mihai Manole opened for 80,000 and Matt Lapossie made the call. Over to Asa Smith and he reraised to 260,000. Manole asked for a count on Smith, but passed -- and so back to Lapossie, who four-bet to 440,000. Smith dwelled up expressionlessly for some time -- and then announced all in. Before he'd even had time to push his stack into the middle, Lapossie had passed. Wow.
Carter Phillips raised from the button to 60,000 before Cornel Cimpan moved all in from the small blind for exactly 250,000. After the big blind ducked out, Phillips quickly called.
Phillips:
Cimpan:
The board ran out , giving Cimpan the double to 545,000. Phillips dropped to approximately 3.75 million.
From under the gun, Mihai Manole raised to 80,000. The big blind, Cornel Cimpan, made the call. Action got checked down by both players on every street as the board rolled out .
