Drescher Survives

Pieter de Korver raised form the cutoff and then called a reraise from Daniel Drescher on the button to see a {7-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {7-Clubs} flop. De Korver checked and Drescher bet 40,000. De Korver glanced up at the clock, which declared they were just a few places off the money, then looked at Drescher's stack. Eventually, though, he went for the slightly disappointing fold option.

Nagy Gets Jiggy

Around 150,000 in chips had found its way into the pot by the turn of the {8-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} board, when Anthony Roux bet out 70,000. Andrej Nagy gave it some serious thought - and then raised to 200,000. Not long after, and Roux passed.

"Show it, one time, the bluff!" said Roux cheerfully, down to 265,000. Nagy merely smiled enigmatically as his stack rose to around 520,000.

Drawing a Blanco

Cristiano Blanco, the only player in the room cool enough to have turned his chair backwards, open-shoved in mid position, not for the first time. Adam Markovits in the small blind gave it some serious thought, but eventually passed. Big blind Marius Heiene folded {2-Spades} {3-Clubs} with a sigh, and Blanco stays in for the moment.
