Outdraws All Over the Shop

Stefan Mattsson raised from the button, only to be met with a reraise from Juha Lauttamus in the small blind. Mattsson announced all in, Lauttamus announced call, and they were on their backs.

Mattsson: {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}
Lauttamus: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}

Concentrate! Here comes the outdraw bit...

Board: {3-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} {3-Spades} {7-Hearts}

Mattsson doubles to 1.985 million. A very unhappy Lauttamus is left with 450,000.

Andreas Eiler Busts in 18th Place (€15,500)

Andreas Eiler - 18th Place
Sebastien Boyard opened for a chunky 90,000, and Andreas Eiler, newly moved to the table, moved all in for 355,000. Back to Boyard, who called all in for 340,000, and they were on their backs.

Boyard: {K-Diamonds} {J-Spades}
Eiler: {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

Board: {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds}...

...

...{K-Hearts}!

Ouch. Boyard doubled up to around 700,000, while Eiler, reduced to less than a big blind, busted two hands later when his {A-?} {4-?} failed to outdraw Luca Pagano's pocket tens.

Antony Lellouche Eliminated in 19th Place (€15,500)

Antony Lellouche - 19th Place
Antony Lellouche - 19th Place
Antony Lellouche attempted to raise under the gun, but got his levels and/or amounts confused and the 26,000 he put in the middle was deemed a call. Andre Paiva called as well in the cutoff, and big blind Eyal Avitan checked his big blind.

The flop came down {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {8-Diamonds} and it checked around to Paiva, who bet. Avitan check-raised, Lellouche check-called the raise, and Paiva decided it wasn't worth it and folded. Interesting.

The turn came down the {Q-Spades} and Avitan now bet out 200,000. Lellouche announced all in for another 450,000 or so - and Avitan called.

Avitan: {4-Clubs} {5-Hearts} for trips
Lellouche: some rather unfortunate {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}

River: {Q-Hearts}

Jerome Zerbib Eliminated in 21st Place (€15,500)

Jerome Zerbib - 21st Place
Jerome Zerbib - 21st Place
Stefan Mattsson made an opening raise from middle position, and the short-stacked Jerome Zerbib moved all in for about 160,000 total. Mattsson made the call while Manuel Bevand's all in was taking place, so the two men had to wait a couple minutes before they would find out hte result of their clash.

The gaggle of media that had been encircling Table 3 quickly rushed over to Table 1 to see Mattsson table {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs}, looking to knock off the {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} of the at-risk Zerbib.

The dealer ran out a board full of blanks: {5-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {8-Hearts} {9-Spades}. That's no fun and no help for Zerbib, and he has been eliminated in 21st place on the final hand before the first break.
