Niemi Neatly Doubles

Action opened with an under-the-gun shove by Kalle Niemi for 253,000. Around the table each player folded in turn, until action was on chip leader Dragan Galic in the small blind. He made the call, and after the big blind Ovi Balaj folded, we were at showdown.

Niemi: {A-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}
Galic: {A-Hearts} {2-Spades}

Galic was trying again with ace-deuce, and again he was dominated. The board ran out {J-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {4-Spades} {8-Hearts} to give Niemi a bit of life at 563,000 chips.

A few hands later, Galic opened the pot for 80,000, but had to fold when Niemi reraised all in behind him.
