New Chip Leader: Piotr Kilinski

Piotr Kilinski just took over the chip lead as he stormed up to 400,000 in chips. He got into a raising battle with Matthias Kurtz preflop to which Kurtz found himself all in. He held {5-Hearts}

and couldn't push Kilinski off his {A-Spades}

. Kurtz failed to improve and was eliminated.

There will be no break after the first level played today. There was only a little over 30 minutes left in Level 12, so play will continue through Level 13 before there is a break. From here on out, there will be a 15-minute break after every level.

Phillips Picks Off Mahonen's Bluff

Jari Mahonen checked raised Carter Phillips on a board of {J-Clubs}

. Phillips bet 5,700 and Mahonen made it 15,000. Phillips stayed in to see the river and it came the {K-Diamonds}

. Mahonen fired 30,000. Phillips called.

Mahonen showed {10-Spades}

for a failed bluff attempt. Phillips revealed {A-Clubs}

for a pair of threes and scooped the pot. He's now back to the chip lead with 355,000 chips.

Seban Doubles Sayech

Michael Seban reraised Tomas Sayech's opening raise of 5,300 to 15,300. Shaun Deeb was in the small blind and tanked for about a miute before folding. Sorel Mizzi was in the big blind and took about a minute to fold as well. Mizzi wasn't thinking about his hand though. He had his Blackberry on the table behind his chips and was scrolling through it, not realizing it was his turn.

When action got back to Sayech, he moved all in for 65,600 total. Seban made the call.

Sayech was poised to double up with {A-Clubs}

against Seban's {10-Hearts}

. The board ran out clean for Sayech -- {Q-Spades}

-- giving him the double up to about 140,000. Seban is down to 76,500.

Van Den Berg Out

. His opponent made a full house on a board of {K-?}

to send the Team PokerStars PRO to the rail.

PokerStars Baltic Festival Next Week

The PokerStars Baltic Festival takes place at the luxurious Swissôtel in Tallinn, Estonia next week from October 28-31. The schedule includes the €1,100 Main Event and a €10,000 High Roller Event.

Confirmed for the High Roller Event are Team PokerStars PRO and reigning WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate along with PokerNews' own Tony G. Theo Jorgensen is also signed up to play and there is interest from many other big names.

National Hockey League legend and Team PokerStars SportStar Mats Sundin will be playing the Main Event along with Team PokerStars PROs Johnny Lodden, William Thorson, and Eastgate.

Over 100 PokerStars players have already won seats online for the tournament which is set to be the largest ever held in the Baltic States.

Day 3 Coming Up

The 2009 PokerStars.com EPT Warsaw will begin Day 3 at 12:30pm local time. That leaves just about an hour and a half before the remaining 55 players return to grind it out to the money.

PokerStars online qualifiers Clayton Mozdzen and Carter Phillips and one and two on the leaderboard, respectively. Mozdzen is the only player over 300,000 chips, and Phillips was the winner of EPT Barcelona in early September. Members of Team PokerStars PRO Luca Pagano and Thierry Van Den Berg will also continue play today. Their fellow team member and 2008 WSOP Main Event champion Peter Eastgate may have removed all his hair, but he still has chips.
