Wissing No Wuss

Mads WIssing raised, and Roberto Romanello in the big blind was the only caller.

Romanello check-called 75,000 on the {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} flop and then bet out 76,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn. Wissing thought about it - and then raised all in for another 200,000 or so. Romanello spent a while apparently doing sums in his head and muttering, and eventually folded.

There was a brief round of applause for Wissing from the rail. "Thank you," said Romanello.

Ricky Fohrenbach Eliminated in 17th Place (80,000 DKK)

Magnus Hansen opened for 37,000 on the button, but Ricky Fohrenbach in the small blind went all in for 425,000.

The action moved on to Andrew Teng in the big blind. He tanked up. He asked Hansen how many chips he had (answer - 700,000 at the start of the hand). He tanked up some more. Then he went all in.

A very swift fold from Hansen later, and Teng and Fohrenbach were racing.

Fohrenbach: {3-Clubs} {3-Hearts}
Teng: {A-Spades} {9-Hearts}

Board: {7-Hearts} {6-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {J-Spades} {6-Hearts}

The board counterfeited Fohrenbach's pair, and he hit the rail. "Hey, take it down, man," were his final words to Teng as he headed for the cash desk. Teng is up to 1.4 million.

They've just broken a table, and play is about to resume.

Steven Vollers Eliminated in 16th Place (100,000 DKK)

On the first hand back from the quick break, Steven Vollers made his all-in move for his final 111,000 chips. Morten Guldhammer quickly called, the rest of the table ducked out of the way, and Vollers was heads up for his tournament life.

Showdown
Vollers: {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}
Guldhammer: {3-Spades} {3-Hearts}

The flop was awfully bad for Vollers: {4-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {9-Hearts}. That removed two of his outs, but as it turned out, it would be irrelevant anyways. The {3-Diamonds} peeled off on fourth street, locking up the pot for Guldhammer and ensuring a 16th-place finish for Vollers.

Guldhammer Going For It

Morten Guldhammer loves action.

He was still stacking chips from the last pot when Yorane Kerignard open-shoved for 208,000. Guldhammer chuckled, capped his cards, and continued to stack the last pot. After a minute or so, he made the call, putting a player at risk for the second consecutive hand.

Showdown
Keringard: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}
Guldhammer: erm, {J-Diamonds} {9-Spades}

The board came down {Q-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}. Keringard had his double locked up before the river card was dealt, and he's worked himself back to about 440,000 thanks to that courtesy double.
