Lieu V. Lehmann; Greenstein Likes

With around 7,000 in the pot by the {10-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {2-Spades} flop, Liz Lieu (big blind) checked. Markus Lehmann in the cutoff bet 4,000, only for Lieu now to check-raise to 10,000. Lehmann did nothing for a while, then motioned for Lieu to move her hands away so he could see her remaining chips. Eventually he flat-called.

Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} turn and Lieu checked the {J-Clubs} river as well before Lehmann bet 14,000. Lieu thought about it for a long, long time - and then tossed in the call.

Lehmann: {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} for ace-high
Lieu: {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} for a pair of threes

To a round of applause from Barry Greenstein at the rail, Lieu moved up to around 90,000.

Delay

With the players not being let in until close to the start time, the tournament has inevitably been delayed. Hopefully we should be starting soon.

Welcome to 2010 PokerStars.it EPT San Remo Day 2!

We're running a little late this morning after a slight delay getting into the casino as the security were not letting anyone in, players, PokerStars staff or indeed media. Cue some Dario Fo-esque farce with Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano (who is one of the organisers) trying to get in and being unable to.

Nevertheless, we've managed to now enter the building. There are 620 players remaining led by Michael Eerhart from Holland with 247,800; Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier is just a little behind him on 232,500.

Play is scheduled to start in a little over 10 minutes but looks like it might be a little longer than that as players are only just now filtering into the casino.
