As you can see from the latest updates, Liv Boeree is doing pretty well here as we push towards the deep money. The Brit almost didn't make it to Day 3, though, running her mighty seven-deuce into aces late yesterday afternoon. Check out how Liv's walkthrough of the hand with Glo:

Manuel Coppola was presumably desperately short when he got it in with against Emiliano Conti's . Either way he failed to spike, and consequently hit the rail.

Flushy
James "Flushy" Dempsey is up to about 950,000 after taking a large pot from Jens Thorson.
Dempsey opened for 18,000 preflop, getting two callers including Thorson. The flop was a rainbow and Dempsey continued his aggression, betting 34,500.
Thorson was the only caller and fired out 53,000 on turn after Dempsey checked. The river was the and Dempsey checked once more but called Thorson's 112,500 bet.
The Swede was forced to show but lost out to Dempsey's .
Dempsey took another little pot from Thorson after the Swede limped preflop on Dempsey's big blind before calling a 12,000 bet on a board. The river went check-check, Dempsey showed the hammer and again that was enough.

Heinz Kamutzki is nursing a much shorter stack than before after his was cracked by Alfonso Illiano's when the board came out . Illiano looks to have doubled up to about 400,000 while Kamutzki has a little over 200,000.

Dag Martin Mikkelsen - who if you recall famously and spectacularly blew up at the Monte Carlo Grand Final final table last year - has coinflipped his way to a double up.
It looks like he raised and then shoved to a reraise from Ramon Demon Cserei in the small blind. A call, and a showdown.
Cserei:
Mikkelsen:
Board:
Mikkelsen is up to over 400,000. Cserei is down to 235,000.

James "Flushy" Dempsey has taken a hit after calling hefty bets on the turn and river of a paint-covered, three-heart board, only to discover that Per Linde had turned a flush. He made a noise like, "Tchhh," and then told his opponent, "Pretty sick turn card."
Flushy - down to 730,000
Linde - up to over 700,000

Thang Duc Nguyen did a little circuit with his hands in the air in victory, shouting, "YESSS!!!" This is what alerted us to the fact that he had doubled up.
We're guessing that the chips went in on the flop.
