Alain opened for a standar 75,000 and serial raiser Johannes Strassmann re-popped him. Back to medesan, who with a decisive forward movement of his open hand declared all in - and Strassmann swiftly passed, putting Medesan up to 1,654,000.

The next hand Bække opened for 85,000 again, but this time Russell Carson made it 225,000 from the button - the first hand he's played today. Bække gave him respect, and folded.

Under the gun, Brent Wheeler raised to 110,000. For the second time today, Allan Bække re-raised Wheeler. This time he made it 275,000 and action folded back around to Wheeler. He gave it up again and Bække took it down.

He is just shy of 5,000,000.

Schroer Shoves, Bække Backs Down

Allan Bække did his favourite thing and raised to 85,000 - only for Jonathan Schroer to shove for 890,000. Schroer put his head down on the table, completely covering his face with his hoodie, while Bække smiled good-naturedly at the blue stripes of the online qualifier. Eventually he folded, and Schroer moved up to 1,063,000.

Allan Bække raised to 85,000 on the button and Alain Medesan made it 190,000 to go from the big blind. Bække called and the flop came down {8-Diamonds}

Both took the free card, bringing out the {7-Hearts}

on the turn. Medesan bet 250,000 and Bække did not go anywhere, making the call. The river was the {J-Spades}

and Medesan took his time before placing out 500,000. Bække made the call and Medesan proudly tabled {A-Spades}

for the nuts. Bække shook his head and mucked, saying he hit a set of jacks.

The pot boosts Medesan's stack to 2.5 million and drops Bække down to almost 4,000,000.
