Tim van der Riet opened with a late-position raise, and Mario Puccini three-bet to 5,700 from the blinds. When it came back to the original raiser, he moved all in for about 30,000 total. Puccini didn't waste too much time making the call with a very similar stack to our eyes. He was, in fact, just slightly covered, and the cards were promptly on their backs:
Van der Riet:
Puccini:
The flop was, well, pretty damn nice for van der Riet. It came out , vaulting him into a huge lead with the triple fives. Puccini stood up from his chair and began to collect his belongings as a potentially helpful landed on fourth street. That gave him the flush draw to work with, and the that rivered was a fine sight indeed.
Four clubs on board give Puccini the comeback flush, and he's notched a big double up. Van der Riet, on the other hand, is left with just a couple small chips to play with.

Jonathan "TheRookieQQ9" Plens just got a needed boost to his stack. He re-raised over the top all in against an opponent's all in with . The rest of the table folded and Plens saw that he was a dominating favorite against .
The board ran out and Plens is up to 24,000 after the hand.
We joined a multi-way pot in progress as the dealer ran out a flop of . It appears that Luca Pagano was the preflop raiser, but we can't say for certain. Either way, Gerolamo Carella led out into the pot with a bet of 2,600 from the blinds. Pagano was next, and he made the minimum raise to 5,200. Not to be outdone, the third man in the pot came right back over the top. Markus Golser made it 13,200 straight, but the action wasn't done yet. Back on Carella, the table watched him count down his stack before announcing an all-in reraise, committing about 50,000 of his chips to the pot.
Pagano folded fairly quickly, although looking a bit disgusted. Golser, though, was not so quick to act. He had about the same stack in front of him, and it would be several long minutes of thought before he finally kicked his cards back to the dealer.
As Carella was being pushed the pot, he flashed the . "Show us the other nine," pleaded the table. Carella obliged by flashing his other card, the .
"Nice play," said Golser, knocking the table and shaking his head after what appears to be an incorrect fold on his part. He'll stick with his 52,000 chips for now.
We just caught the end of the hand, when Hermann Pascha was counting out chips to pay off the gentleman he'd just doubled up, so woefully we didn't manage to catch his hand. Whatever he was holding, though, it wasn't as good as the straight his opponent had, and Pascha dropped to 120,000.

Happy birthday, Mr. Jim "Mr_BigQueso" Collopy of the United States! As the clock struck midnight, he celebrated his 21st birthday (look out, Vegas!) by knocking out a short stack to put him up to 80,000.
Someone needs to get this man a cake! Let's make it a cheesecake...
