We just caught the tail end of this sneakily-large pot. On the river, the board showed {A-Diamonds}

, and there was about 600,000 in the pot. When the last card was out, Alain Medesan fired 425,000 at the pot. Bække cut out the calling chips and fingered them for a minute or so before sliding them into the middle.

Medesan promptly mucked his hand, and Bække took down the pot with his mysteriously superior holdings. He's retaken the chip lead with about 5.5 million.
