It looked as though Konstantin Bucherl (early position) and Jude Ainsworth (button) had been involved in the hand too, but by the time it got to a preflop showdown it was just Kimmo Kurko all in from the small blind against Allen Bari who'd reshoved from the big blind.

Kurko duly hit the rail while Bari's stack increased to 760,000. A little while later Frank Kassela (no longer involved in this tournament) somehow snuck into the tournament area to say hi. Bari told him, "I'm outplaying everyone." Then, "I'm entirely kidding."
WSOPE finalist Nicky Katz was just knocked out by Christophe de Meulder after being all-in with against the Belgian's but an board quickly extinguished his hopes.
Arnaud Mattern, crippled by that Chance encounter, was just eliminated by fellow EPT winner Jake Cody, who flipped to Mattern's but no five this time on the board.
Juan Maceiras has been eliminated by Thomas Bichon after he couldn't get there with against Bichon's - the Frenchman turned a boat to eliminate the Spaniard.
Chance Kornuth has brought all his lucky rabbits' feet today as well as crossing the path of a black cat on his way to the tournament floor.
He had opened preflop to 13,000 before Arnaud Mattern made it 42,500 next to him, Kornuth pushed and Mattern called instantly, the former sighing at the quickness of the call. It was easy to see why:

The board came but then surprisingly the table stayed deathly silent when Kornuth caught his miracle on the turn. The came on the river and only then would Kornuth have an intake of breath.
Daniel Negreanu was crippled when he lost with queens to aces leaving him with just 45,000. His last few chips went in with against Wayne Scott's but despite the tease of an extra couple of outs on the turn of the the river was the making Scott a boat.
On the positive side, Negreanu has finally got his first ever EPT cash.
