Øver and Out

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

This level we've already lost four players, mostly to all-in preflop confrontations brought on by shortness of stack.

Included among the fallen: Andreas Øe, picking up {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} at the same time as big blind Andrea Dalle Molle found {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}. The board brought no help for the dominated ace.

Øe had previously tried to double up with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}, called by big blind Surinder Sunar, but that hadn't quite gone according to plan. Sunar made him wince saying, "You're not winning..." when he turned his hand over - but then showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}! Choppity chop.
