A lot of chips had already found their way into the middle before the 
flop. Fried Meulders checked it to Eric Sfez, who bet 72,000, increasing the tension in the room by (we estimate) 25%. Meulders paused for a while and then made the call. The tension increased a little more.
The turn was the 
and Meulders checked again. Over to Sfez, who now bet 82,000. The air crackled between them. Back again to Meulders, and it was a wonder that he could even move his arm through the air, so tense was the atmosphere, but when he did it was to push his whole stack across the line - another 100,000 or so.
Sfez gave it up, and everyone could breathe again.
Sfez is at 185,000 after that, Meulders up to 520,000.
