Fernando Valenciano is Eliminated in 26th Place

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 2,000 ante

Fernando Valenciano has been eliminated in 26th place and earned himself €20,000. Valenciano had just taken his seat after the break when Kevin Lambert raised to 48,000. Valenciano three bet to 115,000 and Philip Jacobsen moved all-in from the blinds for 360,000 more. Lambert folded but Valenciano made the call.

Valenciano who had a chip protector covering his cards, a bullet on his chips, a toy soldier leaning against his chips and a half eaten twix in front of him managed to find his way through it all to expose {j-Clubs} {j-Hearts}. Jacobsen exposed {a-Spades} {k-Spades} for the classic coin flip situation.

The flop of {k-Clubs} {10-Spades} {6-Clubs} put Jacobsen in the lead and the {5-Hearts} turn and {6-Hearts} river didn't change much and Jacobsen doubled up and crippled Valenciano in the process.

In the next hand Valenciano moved his last 76,000 into the middle and Martin Jacobson made the minimum three bet to 132,000. The action folded over to the chip leader Alex Wice who moved all-in and Jacobson got out of the way quicker than the Road Runner! Beep! Beep!

Wice: {a-Hearts} {k-Clubs}
Valenciano: {a-Diamonds} {j-Diamonds}

The board was {9-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {q-Spades} {9-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}

Wice was left with over 3 million chips and Valenciano was left with a card protector, a bullet, a toy soldier, a half eaten twix and €20,000.
