Laurent Polito (button) and Philip Jacobsen (big blind) saw a 
flop. The action went Jacobsen check, Polito 100,000, Jacobsen raise some hundreds of thousands (inconveniently obscured behind another player's head), and finally Polito went all in to cover Jacobsen. Jacobsen tanked up for some time, but eventually he passed, leaving himself 800,000 or so.
"Never bluff," warned Polito, whose stack is now at perhaps 3.1 million.
"Except when you're bluffing," said another player cheerfully.
