Welcome my friends, to the show that never ends...
We're down to the final three tables of EPT Snowfest where Giacomo Maisto leads the way with 1,548,000. Team PokerStars Pro Alex Kravchenko remains in the hunt, as does Cristian Dragomir - Phil Hellmuth's favourite player.
So the question is today, who is going to see their chip stack grow to something resembling the mountains that surround the Alpine Palace? And who will simply melt away and miss out on the latest EPT final table?
With only eight spots up for grabs, 16 of our players are going to home disappointed, getting a 'cold' shoulder from the poker gods. Play will continue until the final table is reached, however long that will be but given where we are it's hard to imagine a better place for 'cold decks' (ho ho).

We were briefly worried when it appeared that Koen De Visscher hadn't appeared and his seat was empty briefly until the Belgian managed to make it just in time.

Iulian Ruxandescu opened preflop to 22,000 and Kevin Vandermissen flat-called on the button and Hans Erlandsson called in the big blind.
The flop came 
and Erlandsson and Ruxandescu both checked across to Vandermissen who bet 31,000. Erlandsson check-raised to 87,000 and Ruxandescu folded, Vandermissen carefully counted out a call.
The 
came on the turn and Erlandsson continued his aggression, betting 137,000 but again Vandermissen showed no sign of backing down and made the call.
The 
river saw Erlandsson quickly fire out 223,000 and Vandermissen thought for about 10 seconds before announcing, "Call."
Erlandsson quickly mucked and Vandermissen turned over 
for the pot.
Alessandro Speranza Eliminated in 24th Place (€9,000)

Alessandro Speranza is today's first casualty after he busted out just moments ago.
Most pots are being settled preflop at the moment though most go along the lines of fold, fold, fold, raise, fold, fold and so on and so forth, but one hand just went all the way, though the money did go in preflop.
Philip Meulyzer raised from the cutoff and Speeanza shoved on the button for a total of 140,000. Meulyzer made the call and the cards were flipped over.

The flop of 
was really good for Speranza as it meant Meulyzer was drawing to just one out as the 
would give Speranza a flush. The turn saw the 
make an appearance which failed to alter anything but the ruver was the cruel to eliminate Speranza. Ouch!
"F**k my life" said Speranza as he left the table. Some poker terminology has no language barriers

Murphy's is not Bitter
