Pagano Climbing Once Again

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Luca Pagano is back up to around 77,000 chips after he gave a lesson in pot control to EPT Tallin Champion, Kevin Stani.

It was Kevin MacPhee who opened the betting with a 700 raise from early position, a raise that Stani three-bet to 2,400 and Pagano, next to act, flat-called. Everyone else folded back to MacPhee and he made the call.

Flop: {6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} - MacPhee checked, Stani made it 4,800 to play, Pagano smooth called the bet and MacPhee got out of the way.

Turn: {3-Spades} - Stani was in no mood for slowing down and he put a bet of 6,700 into the already swollen pot. Once again Pagano simply called.

River: {2-Diamonds} - After being called preflop, on the flop and on the turn Stani now checked and Pagano checked behind, though he turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} which was enough to win the hand and boost him to 77,000, whilst Stani dropped to 29,500
