Meulyzer Takes the Lead

Level 8 : 400/800, 75 ante

Georgy Abashidze was already all in when we got there; betting continued between Philip Meulyzer and Byron John Kaverman until all their chips went in too, and they were soon at a three-way all-in showdown.

Abashidze: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Kaverman: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Meulyzer: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Board: {4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Abashidze and Kaverman both hit the rail, and Meulyzer had time to stack up his chips - the two exits left his table six-handed and dealing was paused while the floor man went to find some fresh victims, sorry, players to put on this now ridiculously stacked table. Meulyzer's stack was at exactly 191,400 after that hand, putting him ahead of Michael Tureniec who has dropped a little to around 185,000 and is incidentally seated right next to Meulyzer, Meulyzer with position.
