Gesh What I Have?

Level 12 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante
Vladimir Geshkenbein - probably not ahead
Vladimir Geshkenbein - probably not ahead

Herbert Kern raised preflop, only to find himself being reraised by Vladimir Geshkenbein. Kern called, and they saw a flop.

Said flop came down {8-}{6-}{2-} rainbow, and Geshkenbein bet out 15,000. Kern made it 33,000 - but Geshkenbein now set him in, leaving Kern with a serious decision to make for his remaining 60,000. Eventually he folded - and Geshkenbein showed him {q-Spades}{9-Spades}.

"Was I ahead?" he grinned, to no response from Kern.

The Russian steamroller is up to 325,000.
