The Monkey Has Gone But His Chips Have Not

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Vladimir Geshkenbein has removed the toy money from his chip stack since coming back from dinner, maybe to make more room for chips he plans to pick up in the next few levels.

Geshkenbein opened up the betting with a raise to 22,000, the next two players folded and Vandersmissen, as did Morten Mortensen in the small blind. The flop came down {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Mortensen checked as did Geshkenbein but Vandersmissen spoiled the party by betting 39,000, a bet that only Geshkenbein called.

The dealer burned a card and put the {8-Diamonds} out on the turn. Geshkenbein checked then called Vandersmissen's 133,000 bet. Now on the river the {3-Diamonds} made an appearance and both players checked.

Vandersmissen: {a-}{j-}
Geshkenbein:{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} - and the win
