Kevin Vandersmissen

Vladimir Geshkenbein opened to 135,000 from the cutoff and Kevin Vandersmissen made the call in the small blind to see a {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} flop where the Belgian check-raised Geshkenbein's 135,000 continuation bet to 400,000 - resulting in a quick fold from the Russian.

A couple of hands later and Vandersmissen opened to 120,000 from the cutoff, Giacomo Maisto made it 260,000 on the button and Vandersmissen deliberated, asking for a count. Maisto had about 2 million behind and the former chip leader moved all-in, the Italian was unsure what to do but elected for the safe option - folding to leave himself the shortest stack remaining.
