George Danzer made it what we think was 46,000 from the small blind, but Mikhail Lakhitov in the big blind reraised to 100,000. Danzer now made it 286,000 - but Lakhitov now five-bet to cover Danzer, who snap-folded.
Danzer is pretty short now on 370,000, Lakhitov towering above him on 1.5 million.
More four-bet-followed-by-a-snap-fo ld-to-a-five-bet action over at the next table, as Kristijonas Andrulis opened to 41,000 and Robin Ylitalo made it 97,000 to go. Andrulis four-bet to 165,000, which prompted a serious tank from Ylitalo. Eventually he five-bet to around 400,000, and no sooner were the chips across the line than Andrulis' hand was in the muck.
"So you had something then," Andrulis said, but Ylitalo declined to answer. They're at around a million apiece after that, but moving in completely opposite directions.
We just lost Thorsten Schafer from the TV table, sadly getting the details is nigh on impossible since the area is mostly sealed off from the media.
All we can safely ascertain is that by the river someone else had a better hand than his own as he is now walking to the cash desk.
Ben Wilinofsky has been a real pain in Anton Morgenstern's side today. The young Canadian had won several pots against his opponent before administering a final coupe de grace in a coinflip situation.
It was Wilinofsky's
against Morgenstern's
for what was a 1.2 million pot.
The flop was

and while the
teased a lot of outs for the Russian, the river was the
and Wilinofsky moves amongst the chip leaders once more.
Mikhail Lakhitov raised under the gun and it folded around to Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer in the big blind, who shoved for 361,000.Lakhitov called, and they were on their backs.
Danzer:

Lakhitov: dominating with

Flop:

giving Lakhitov a flush draw to boot.
Turn:
giving Danzer a flush draw too and prompting some oohs around the table.
River: a complete brick in the form of the
.
Danzer shook hands with everyone and took his leave. Lakhitov is up to 1.7 million, and we have just one more player to lose before calling it a night.
Daniel-Gai Pidun just made a rather big call on the river of a

board after Mikhail Lakhitov fired 170,000.
Despite straight possibilities and the overcard, Pidun found a call with
which was good after Lakhitov tapped the table and showed
for a missed gutshot.
There has been a fair bit of preflop shoving - culprits include Mario Adinolfi and Martin Jacobson - but so far nobody has called and we remain at 25 players for the moment.
In Actual Big Pot news, though, here's a fun one. We found Robin Ylitalo check-calling a bet from Kristijonas Andrulis on a

flop before checking a second time on the
turn. Andrulis tanked up for a bit and then bet 158,000. Ylitalo called.
The river was the
and this time both players checked it. Andrulis turned over
for a bluffy-but-for-the-rivered-pai r-of-eights
- and Ylitalo made a sad little horrified noise and mucked.
"Feels good, man," grinned Andrulis - he's up to over 1.6 million. Even Ylitalo eventually found it kind of funny. He's at 730,000 now.
