Yury'n Luck

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The flop read {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} when we got there and a gentleman had bet out 1,500. Yury Kerzhapkin raised to 3,500 with just 5,000 back. His opponent peered over to assess Kerzhapkin's single yellow T5,000 chip, as though he couldn't quite believe that that was the sum of Kerzhapkin's tournament wealth. Then he called.

They saw a {7-Spades} turn and the first player checked. Kerzhapkin's last chip went in, his opponent called, and they were on their backs.

Kerzhapkin: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a set
Gentleman opponent: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}

River: {2-Diamonds}

Kerzhapkin duly doubled, and is now rather more comfortable than before on a still below average 18,000.
