Double Scalp for Sneaky Wilf

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Thomas Bichon
Thomas Bichon

Thomas Bichon and Giovani Cantonati are both out. Cantonati had raised to 14,000 in middle position, called by his neighbour Saar Wilf. Over to cutoff Bichon, who moved all in for 113,000 total with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

There followed two more all-ins, but the first took about twenty times longer than the second. Cantonati talked to himself, frowned, counted down his stack, and finally moved in with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Wilf immediately called with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} prompting an 'arrrrgh' from the Italian.

The board brought slim hope for Bichon on the turn: {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The river was the {K-Clubs}. Wilf gains over 240,000.
