Alessandro Laubinger Eliminated in 19th Place (€20,000)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Alessandro Laubinger
Alessandro Laubinger

An awkward series of raises got Alessandro Laubinger's whole stack in preflop vs. Vadzim Kursevich. Laubinger made it 69,000 on the button (with 345k behind). Kursevich raised to 145,000. An expressionless dwell later, Laubinger moved forward first one stack and then his final two.

Having not announced, "All in," the ruling was that the first bet alone held - 239,000.

The decision whether or not to play the whole way to the river was now up to Kursevich anyway - he went for it, setting Laubinger in.

On their backs:

Laubinger{A-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Kursevich{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The flop double paired Kursevich: {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. Thomas Kremser said something about a queen being the way for him to survive. The turn was a {10-Diamonds} and the river bricked {2-Diamonds}. Out Laubinger goes.
