Outer Table Still Quiet

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

There's been very little serious action on the non-feature table of late. We've seen a few flops, but no significant movement of chips. The most interesting of these flops read {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}, and what was interesting about it was that Thomas Pettersson, who'd called Torsten Brinkmann's raise in the big blind, liked it enough to go all in. Brinkmann folded though.

There is likely to be even less action on this table now - following Pedro Pellicer's exit, the aggro and chipped up Eugene Yanayt has been moved to the feature table.

Alessandro Limblici Eliminated in 10th Place (€95,000)

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Alessandro Limblici
Alessandro Limblici

Alessandro Limblici moved all in from the small blind for his last 350,000. Torsten Brinkmann snap-called from the big blind.

Limblici: {K-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Brinkmann: {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Italian Limblici Supporter Behind Me: "NOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

Limblici was in trouble and the death knell came on the {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop, the Italian needed running kings to win or running eights for a chop. But the turn was the {2-Clubs} and the river the {J-Clubs}. We're down to one table and on a break.

Remember we need to just lose one more and we're done for the night. Seat draw and chip counts to follow.

Break Right Now

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Mr. Limblici busted out with just a few seconds left of the level, so they're taking a 10 minute break now. When they return, it will be to play nine-handed at the feature table until we lose one more player.

Cautious Play

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

All the players are looking tired and miserable at the moment, tending to avoid eye contact, it kind of reminds me of the last time I had an immediate family gathering.

Alex Gomes opened to 140,000 preflop but reluctantly gave it up when Juan Maceiras raised to 315,000.

Thomas Pettersson moved all in preflop and everyone folded.

Alex Gomes raised to 125,000 and won the blinds and ante.

Eugene Yanayt Doubles Through

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Yet another chip leader from earlier in the day had his tournament life on the line just now - Eugene Yanayt, who moved all in preflop after he was threebet by Andrey Danilyuk (285,000). For around 1.4 million he shoved after a brief think, called quickly by Danilyuk.

Danilyuk: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Yanayt: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Flop: {Q-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Turn: {A-Clubs}
River: {A-Spades}

Danilyuk looked like he was about to emit a furball, while Yanayt was all smiles.

Maceiras Pushes Off Freitez

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Juan Maceiras raised preflop to 130,000 with about 1.3 million behind and Ivan Freitez called to see a {2-Spades}{Q-}{9-} flop. Freitez quickly bet 250,000 and Maceiras snap-shoved.

"Come on, let's go!" said the Team PokerStars Pro confidently. Freitez stood up and stared at the board but it looked to everyone in the Media room that he wasn't calling and after a few minutes he gave it up.
