There was a raise from early position from an unknown player and Pieter de Korver three-bet to 4,000. Paul Trigo called on the button and Tom MacDonald four-bet from the big blind making it 13,000 to play. The initial raiser and de Korver both folded but Trigo made the call from the button.
Flop:
Both players checked.
Turn:
MacDonald fired out a healthy looking 14,000 and Trigo made the call.
River:
MacDonald thought for a while before checking and Trigo also checked. MacDonald was the last aggressor and suffered the ignominy of showing the table . Trigo peeled over and won the hand and now has 107,000.
Mariano Salis pushed all-in for 13,000 from the small blind and it didn't take too long for chip leader Alessandro Adinolfo to call with dominating Salis' . The board came and Adinolfo looks to be the first player over the 200,000 mark.
Leonid Bilokur has around 160,000. The Russian just eliminated Pierpaolo Basta having flopped a set of fours on a board and Basta refusing to quit with for two pair. We have about half an hour remaining of the day.
Galen Hall, the 2011 PCA Champion, just doubled up to 82,000 after he was all-in with on a flop of against Snowfest runner-up Kevin Vandersmissen. The Belgian making the call with , the {qh] turn did not make a difference but although the river did not seem to make a difference, suddenly Hall's jack-high now played and he won the pot.
Also, Thomas Kremser has announced that we'll be starting at 1.30 tomorrow instead of the scheduled noon or the 2.30 start we accidentally had today. Tell all your friends.
We caught the action on the turn of the board, with Ramzi Jelassi check-calling a 9,000 bet from erstwhile chip leader Alessandro Adinolfo.
They saw a river and Jelassi now bet out 33,000 with just 8,000 or so back. Adinolfo announced all in to cover Jelassi, who snap-called, turning over for a flush. Adinolfo's for two pair was no good, and he dropped right down to around 80,000. Jelassi allowed just a hint of a smile to cross his face as he doubled up to over 100,000.
