A Schur Thing

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Michael Schurpf and Abdulaziz Abdulaziz (so good they named him twice) flat-called Ramzi Jelassi's preflop raise from the blinds. It was checked to Jelassi on the flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the Swede bet 1,000 but Schurpf was the only caller to the {8-Hearts} turn.

Schurpf checked a second time and Jelassi bet 2,600 which again so a quick call from his opponent to see the {a-Spades} on the river. Schurpf now slowly counted his chips and fired out 5,800 but Jelassi quickly raised to 13,800. Schurpf clearly hadn't been expecting a raise and tanked for several minutes before deciding to move all-in, Jelassi shrugged and snap-called with {5-Clubs}{4-Spades} for the flopped nuts.

Schurpf sighed, apparently whispering to his neighbour that he had a set of sixes. The Swede Jelassi is up to about 60,000.
