Two Team PokerStars Pros did battle in this one and it didn't turn out good for the man sporting the Costa Rican badge.
Juan Manuel Pastor from Spain raised to 26,000 to kick off the action and then play moved to Humberto Brenes. He reraised all in for 127,000 and Pastor quickly called, tabling the
. Brenes was crushed with his
.
The flop didn't give much love for Brenes, as the

rolled out. Not only did Pastor's aces hold up so far, but he also had the better spade draw to boot. After a meaningless turn and river, Brenes wished luck to the table and headed to the payout desk.

With a dead small blind, Mattias Bergstrom raised from under the gun to 25,000. Action folded a couple seats over to Pascal Hartmann in middle position and he called. Play then folded to Justas Semaska in the big blind. Semaska three-bet and made it 82,000 to go. Bergstrom thought for a minute or two prior to coming back with a four-bet to 155,000. Hartmann mucked and Semaska moved all in for 387,000. Bergstrom called.
Semaska held the
and was in a classic coinflip situation with Bergstrom, who held the
.
The flop came down

and kept Semaska in front. Although Bergstrom flopped a Broadway straight draw, it would be no good due to the paired flop as Semaska would then make a full house.
The turn brought the
and now Bergstrom needed just an ace or a king to eliminate Semaska.
The river landed with the
and Bergstrom had missed. That was good news for Semaska because his queens held and he doubled up to just over 800,000. Bergstrom still holds over a million in chips.

Basile Yaiche raised to 25,000 and Andries Swart reraised to 60,000. Ioannis Beris moved all in for 197,000 and play folded back to the three bettor, Swart. He thought about it, decided he was getting a good price and made the call. He held the

The board ran out clean for Beris,

Another Team PokerStars Pro has just hit the rail. This time, it was short-stacked Salvatore Bonavena falling to Basile Yaiche.
Down to his last 54,000 in chips after nursing a short stack for quite some time, Bonavena moved all in. Yaiche called and it was a coinflip, with Bonavena needing to come from behind. He held the
to Yaiche's
.
After a flop of

put Bonavena in the lead, the turn landed with the
. Unfortunately for the Italian, he couldn't dodge the river as the
smacked the board to give Yaiche a winning set.

With the elimination of Salvatore Bonavena from the event, just one Team PokerStars Pro remains. That's Juan Manuel Pastor from Spain. We'll see if he can make the team proud and move on to Day 5.
From under the gun, Steve O'Dwyer raised to 27,000. His only customer was Fowzi Baroukh on the button. The flop came down

and O'Dwyer checked. Baroukh fired 45,000 and that prompted an all-in shove from O'Dwyer for 206,000. Baroukh made the call holding top pair, second kicker with the
. O'Dwyer had the better of it with the

After the
landed on the turn and the
hit on the river, O'Dwyer was shipped the double up.
