Welcome to Day 5 of the 2011 PokerStars.com European Poker Tour London Poker Festival Main Event. Just 24 players remain from the original starting field of 691. All are guaranteed £19,000, but the number everyone is aiming for today is £64,000 -- the amount you'll earn for reaching the final table.
Leading the way into play today is Sweden's Mattias Bergstrom with 1.838 million in chips -- only slightly ahead of Spain's Adria Balaguer (1.828 million) and Germany's Pascal Hartmann (1.8 million).
Also remaining are Team PokerStars Pro Juan Manuel Pastor, Steve O'Dwyer, Benny Spindler, Joao Barbosa and Martins Adeniya. Sebastian Blom, brother of Team PokerStars Pro Viktor Blom, is the short stack returning to play with just 59,000 in chips.
There is no set schedule for today in terms of length. The tournament will play as long as is needed to reach the final table, so it could be a very short one or a very long long one. We're rooting for the former, but either way PokerNews will be on hand for every minute of the action to bring it to you. Play kicks off at noon.

The cards are in the air for Day 5 of the 2011 PokerStars.com EPT London Main Event.
After chip leader Mattias Bergstrom raised to 34,000, Basile Yaiche reraised from the big blind to 112,000. Bergstrom called and the two saw the paired flop. Yaiche bet 85,000 and Bergstrom called.
The turn card was the . Yaiche fired again, this time for 190,000. Bergstrom put in a min-raise to 380,000 and Yaiche called.
The river was the and completed a backdoor flush draw. Yaiche checked and Bergstrom bet 400,000. After a minute, Yaiche called holding the . Bergstrom held the for a full house to better Yaiche's trips and won the pot.

Martins Adeniya raised to 42,000 to kick off the action on this hand. Action then folded to Adria Balaguer and he made the call. Play moved around to Anatoly Gurtovoy and he put out 55,000 in chips, but only meant to call. The floor was summoned and it was ruled that Gurtovoy could either min-raise or just call. The catch was that if he just called, he'd lose the extra chips he stuck out, so the call would cost him the full 55,000. Instead, he chose to min-raise to 64,000. Adeniya quickly reraised to 200,000 and action moved back to Balaguer. He folded and then Gurtovoy tossed his hand into the muck as well.
Sebastian Blom was all in from the big blind preflop against Hugo Loureiro and Ioannis Beris. The two active players then got their money in on the flop. Loureiro check-jammed over Beris and he held two red sevens. Beris called the shove holding the for trip kings.
No help came on the turn or river for Loureiro and he lost the pot to double Beris, who is up to 650,000 or so now. Blom, who was all in preflop on the severe short stack, held the , which was a lot of nothing at the end of the hand and he hit the rail first on the day.
