Collapse of the Roman Empire

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

After Jason Wheeler managed to survive with {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} against {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades} when the board came {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{10-Spades}, ("the $6,000 ten," Wheeler called it) attention was turned to another table.

Roman Makhlin had moved all in for his last 18,500 from UTG.

He then proceeded to wander off away from the table and tell one of his friends on the other side of the room that he was all in.

"Wait...what?" said big blind Rupert Elder as a crowd swelled around the table.

Finally Makhlin came back to the table and Christopher Lastiwka moved all in behind him and the blinds folded. Makhlin was told if he won the hand he'd be getting a penalty anyway.

Makhlin: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Lastiwka: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Makhlin was ahead but the board ran out {A-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{J-Spades} meaning the Russian was out and everyone had made it into the money.
