Vicenzo Apicella is down to 105,000 chips after he left a lot of equity in the middle and folded.
He raised to 25,000 and called when Johan van Til three-bet to 65,000 from the button. The flop came down and the Italian check-folded to Van Til's 60,000 c-bet.
Konstantinov Aleksandr Valerevish is out of this European Poker Tour Main Event after losing to Sami Kelopuro in a blind versus blind battle.
Everyone folded to Kelopuro in the small blind and he promptly made it 25,000 to play. Valerevish three-bet to 82,000 and Kelopuro announced he was all in. Valerevish called and the hands were turned onto their backs.
Valerevish:
Kelopuro:
The flop changed nothing but the on the turn put Kelopuro in front. The river was the , which was no help to the Russian and he became our 12th place finisher and did not seem too pleased about that fact at all.
Vicenzo Apicella just did what he does best. The action folded to him on the button and he moved all-in for 87,000. Lari Sihvo was in the small blind and moved in behind to isolate and it worked.
Raigo Aasmaa opened to 35,000 from the hijack and when it folded around to PokerStars qualifier Stuart Fox in the small blind he moved all-in. Sami Kelopuro folded the big blind and Aasmaa said, "count!"
It was 255,000 and Aasmaa called.

Flop:
The flop allowed Fox to breathe a little easier but it still left Aasmaa with some outs.

River:
No king for Aasmaa and the only remaining British player doubled up and now has over half a million chips.
Raigo Aasmaa has just added an extra 170,000 chips to his stack after a clash with Sami Kelopuro over on Table 1.
It was Jani Sointula who got the hand started when he raised to 37,000 from under the gun. Stuart Fox folded but Kelopuro called from the small blind. Next to act was Aasmaa and he three-bet to 105,000, which was enough to fold out Sointula and enough to send Kelopuro deep into the tank. He stayed there for three minutes before making the call.
Flop: - Kelopuro checked and Aasmaa checked behind
Turn: - Check, check
River: - Check, check
Aasmaa turned over and Kelopuro said "that's good" and mucked.
Arvi Vainionkulma just slow played aces from the small blind but didn't get that much value as the board came very wet.
Grzegorz Cichocki raised to 32,000 from UTG and Vainionkulma called as did Ronny Kaiser in the big blind. The flop came and all three players checked to the turn. Kaiser bet out for 45,000 and Vainionkulma tank called. The river came and both players checked.
Vicenzo Apicella should have smelled a rat as soon as the usually hyper-aggressive Grzegorz Cichocki just made up the difference from the small blind. The flop was an ace-tastic looking and both players checked. The turn was the and again both players checked. It was on the river that Cichocki came to life and he bet 25,000 and Apicella called.
Would do the trick? It certainly did and Cichocki scooped the pot.
