Outer Table Action

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

A smattering of hands from the outer tables.

  • Annette Obrestad opened to 1,200 from middle position and Mattias Lannermark three-bet from the button forcing the fold from the Norwegian.
  • Jeff Sarwer raised to 1,400 under the gun. "Do you raise every hand?" someone gestured. We are not sure if Michelle Perego picked up on this but he duly three-bet to 3,600 from the big blind. Sarwer made the call and they shared a flop of {q-Diamonds} {a-Hearts} {5-Clubs} and both players checked. The dealer gave us the {9-Hearts} turn and a 4,600 Perego bet forced the fold from Sarwer.
  • Natalia Nikitina raised to 1,500 from early position and received three callers. All four of them checked a flop of {2-Spades} {q-Diamonds} {8-Clubs} and David Sonelin won the pot on the turn when he bet 2,325 at the sight of the {6-Spades} and it was enough to take down the pot. Table 22 broke immediately after.
  • Johan Van Til moved his measly short stack over line in one of his many all-in shoves this morning. No-one took up the challenge and he won the blinds and antes.
