Vamplew Gets Some Back

David Vamplew stopped the rot after he took a pot off Paul Berende with a flush over flush.

We reached the action on the turn where the board read {10-Spades} {7-Spades} {8-Spades} {q-Spades} and Berende led for 600 from the big blind. Vamplew called to the {j-Spades} river where he faced a 1,600 bet from the Dutchman. Vamplew took his time before calling with {a-Spades} {k-Diamonds} whilst saying, "I have the ace of spades."

"I have the king (of spades)," replied Berende. "Good card for me on the river," he continued.
