Runar Runarsson Didn't Need Two Streets to Hit

Frederik Jensen didn't get on too well in a hand versus the chatty Icelandic Runar Runarsson.

He opened from under the gun and bet a {3-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop. Runarsson called both time and check-called when the Dane bet 2,625 on the {9-Spades} turn. The river fell {q-Spades} and Runarsson checked again. Before Jensen made any move his opponent said, "It's hard to bet ace-king now, isn't it?"

He might well have been right as Jensen checked behind and mucked when shown {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a turned pair.

"Sorry for everything, I'm so bad. I can't fold a gutshot," said Runarsson.

"I noticed!" came Jensen's reply.
