Kelopuro Shoves On Shak

From under the gun plus one, Dan Shak raised to 2,200. Sami Kelopuro three-bet to 5,200 from middle position and action folded back around to Shak. He four-bet and made it 17,200 to go. After some tanking, Kelopuro made the call.

The flop came down jack high with two hearts — {J-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Shak fired 18,000 with a tad under 70,000 behind. Kelopuro took a couple minutes to think things through and then raised all in. Shak requested a count and the dealer broke it down to 71,600 — a large portion of Shak's stack. Shak tanked for a couple minutes, but in the end folded his hand and Kelopuro won the pot.

Straight Flush for Smith

With the board reading {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Dan Smith had raised Tommy Vedes' bet of 5,100 to 22,800. After some time in the tank, Vedes asked Smith if he would show if Vedes folded.

"€300," said Smith right away.

"Wow, that's a lot," responded Vedes.

Another minute or two passed and then Vedes tossed in the call. Smith turned over the {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a nine-high straight flush and Vedes mucked his hand.

Somerville Gets There Against Negreanu

Jason Somerville raised to 1,600 from the hijack seat and Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind. From there, the dealer ran out the {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and Negreanu checked. Somerville fired a continuation bet of 1,800 and Negreanu called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {K-Diamonds} fall on the river. That river card brought in a backdoor flush draw along with a gutshot straight draw and Negreanu bet 3,200. Somerville raised to 8,500 and Negreanu tanked for a bit.

As he so often does, Negreanu began thinking things through out loud. He rambled off his thoughts on the hand and what he thought Somerville could have before eventually making the call. Somerville tabled the {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a Broadway straight on the river and Negreanu mucked his hand, claiming to have aces up. Negreanu thought jack-ten was one of the possible hands Somerville could hold.
