One and Two

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Rodrigo Caprioli raised to 90,000 on the button, Clayton Mozdzen three-bet to 200,000 from the small blind and Caprioli folded.

-

Alex Mostafavi raised to 80,000 on the button, Vadzim Markushevksi three-bet to 190,000 in the small blind and Mostafavi performed his usual act of counting his chips over and over again, before finally folding.

Anatoly Gutrovoy raised to 85,000 in first position, Clayton Mozdzen three-bet to 200,000 in the cutoff before Alex Mostafavi moved all-in from the button for 520,000. Gurtovoy folded but Mozdzen made the call.

Mostofavi{Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Mozdzen{A-Diamonds} {J-Spades}

So Mozdzen was in pretty good shape to eliminate Mostafavi. That was until we saw the flop.

Board: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {9-Spades} {K-Hearts} {8-Hearts}

Mostofavi found the queen he needed and doubled up to 1,170,000

Ben Vinson Eliminated in 13th Place (€60,000)

What were we telling you about the TV table? Ben Vinson didn't take long to follow Geert-Jan Potijk off the stage after another badly timed move.

"Redbull" Robbie who's announcing the action for the TV recording told us that Vinson shoved with {10-}{9-} and was called by Andoni Larrabe holding pocket nines. Vinson received no help and looked understandably glum afterwards.

Geert-Jan Potijk Eliminated in 14th Place (€60,000)

Geert-Jan Potijk

If I was a player still left in the field I would not want to be a player on the feature table right now, as that's where most of the eliminations are happening. It also means we keep getting incomplete information on the hands as well.

What we do know of Geert-Jan Potijk's exit is that he three-bet shoved with {k-}{9-} from the small blind after a cut-off raise. It was a case of bad timing for the Dutchman though as Daniel Gomez was waiting in the big blind with pocket queens. The board ran {5-}{2-}{j-}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} to improve neither player's hand.

Pratyush Buddiga Elimated in 16th Place (€50,000)

Pratyush Buddiga
Pratyush Buddiga

Pratyush Buddiga was not only just eliminated but he had to endure a slow roll as well, from Bernard Guigon.

The action folded to Guigon in the cut-off and he open limped before Buddiga spelled out his intentions by moving all in for 304,000. Guigon asked for a count and then called with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}!

Buddinga opened {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and was out of his chair as the board ran {q-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

No back to back EPT final tables for the young American.
