Selbst vs. Bonomo

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From early position, Justin Bonomo raised to 23,000. Vanessa Selbst reraised to 49,000 from the next seat and Bonomo made the call. The flop came down {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades} and both players checked to see the {6-Hearts} land on the turn. Bonomo led out for 70,000 and Selbst folded her hand.

Two Pair for Kenney

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

From the button, Vanessa Selbst raised to 20,000. Bryn Kenney called from the big blind and then checked the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades} flop. Selbst checked behind and the turn was the {8-Spades}. Both players checked again and the river completed the board with the {9-Clubs}. Kenney bet 38,000 and Selbst called.

Kenney turned over the {A-Spades}{8-Clubs} for two pair, nines and eights, with an ace kicker. Selbst mucked and Kenney won the pot.

Shakerchi Increases His Chip Lead

Talal Shakerchi has the measure of Kabrhel
Talal Shakerchi has the measure of Kabrhel

Talal Shakerchi seems to be handling the aggressive button play of Martin Kabrhel with ease. We didn't see the entire hand but we know that Shakerchi defended his big blind versus a standard Kabrhel button open, and then proceeded to check-call three barrels (including a river bet of 210,000). The board was {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {2-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {A-Hearts} and Shakerchi was holding {J-Spades} {7-Hearts}. Kabrhel was bluffing with {4-Clubs} {2-Diamonds}.

Daniel Negreanu Doubles Through Phil Ivey

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has just doubled up through Phil Ivey over at the feature table. We cannot see the board from our vantage point, but we believe Daniel Negreanu moved all-in, from the big blind, on fourth street and Phil Ivey called from early position. The board looked like it was a king high board and Negreanu held {K-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} with Ivey holding {K-Spades} {J-Diamonds}. The dealer announced the river card was a queen and Negreanu doubled up with two pair.

Dieter Albrecht Eliminated by Martin Kabrhel

Dieter Albrecht open shoved for 79,000 and Martin Kabrhel isolated him with a shove of his own from the cutoff. The dealer announced we had an all-in and call and it was Albrecht at risk of elimination.

Kabrhel{8-Spades} {8-Diamonds}
Albrecht{A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}

Board: {J-Spades} {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {4-Clubs}

So not a great tournament for Dieter Albrecht who invested €200,000 in the prize pool. Martin Kabrhel is now up to 420,000.

Kenney and Marchese Clash

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Tom Marchese raised to 22,000 in first position and Bryn Kenney called in the big blind. The flop was {Q-Clubs} {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} and Kenney check-called a 27,000 Marchese c-bet. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and both players checked before the dealer gave us the fifth community card {2-Clubs}. Kenney decided to lead with a 71,000 and Marchese released his hand.
