Greenwood Shoves

Action folded to Max Greenwood in the cutoff seat and he raised to 1,700. On the button, David Martirosyan made the call. Steve Silverman reraised to 5,200 from the big blind and then Greenwood reraised all in for between 20,000-25,000. Martirosyan and Silverman quickly folded, giving Greenwood the pot.

Jaka Doubles Through Chartier

Faraz Jaka bet 3,900 on the {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop and Sam Chartier made the call to see the {Q-Hearts} land on the turn. Jaka fired 7,200 and Chartier made another call.

The river completed the board with the {4-Clubs} and Jaka moved all in for 14,725. Chartier had just uner 27,000 left in his stack and called after a minute or two of tanking. Jaka turned up the {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} for top pair and Chartier mucked his hand.

Don't Quarrel with Thorel

Level 4 : 300/600, 75 ante

"What do you know about Jean Noel Thorel?" we asked a member of the French media.

"He's a bit...crazy," replied the unnamed source.

He's not entirely wrong based on earlier evidence but he just squeezed to 4,000 against a raise and a call from Ben Wilinofsky.

Both called to see a {9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop but they both folded when Thorel threw out a chunky 10,000 bet.

Pelletier Can't Buy It From Grospellier

Daniel Pelletier saw the {K-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop against two Team PokerStars Pros, Jason Mercier and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier. Pelletier fired 3,100 and Grospellier raised to 7,000. Mercier folded and then Pelletier made the call.

After the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Pelletier check-called a bet of 9,200 from Grospellier. The river then completed the board with the {8-Spades}. Pelletier asked Grospellier how much he had left, then fired 12,000. Grospellier called.

Upon Grospellier getting called, Pelletier mucked his hand as Grospellier showed the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}. Grospellier moved to 70,000 and Pelletier dropped back to 62,000.

Smoked Salman

Salman Behbehani is out after he got into a raising war preflop with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} against another player's {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} and came out second best after a {J-Spades}{K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} board.

Former EPT champions Kevin MacPhee and Martin Finger are also out.

Don't Have a Cao Man

Tobias Renkemeier raised to 1,000 preflop from the cutoff and Rui Cao called on the button. Dani Stern then raised to 3,400 from the big blind but both players made the call to see a flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Stern led out for 4,000 and Renkemeier made the call before Cao opted for a min-raise to 8,000. Stern folded but Renkemeier made the call to see the {Q-Hearts} on the turn.

The German now checked and Cao fired out a bet of 14,300. Renkemeier grasped two 25k chips in his hand and it looked like he was going to set the Frenchman all in, but instead he opted to fold.
