When to Holden and When to Fold 'em

Just as the flop was being dealt, Daniel Negreanu was telling Sam Holden, "I have a good hand..."
The board came out 
and Holden led out for 6,100 which Negreanu thought about then made the call.
The 
came on the turn and Holden didn't hesitate for too long before leading for 14,500. Again Negreanu thought before mucking and then said, "I had a good hand...You have a better one or you were going to get there!"
Kid Poker has about 50,000 left and is going to be looking for a double up before the end of the day.
